MicroSeconds is expanding our in-home computer services. We can now come to you for many of the services that you have done at the store. In-home services will include virus/spyware removal, wireless network setup, data backup and transfer, and much more. The in-home service will be more convenient for you, and we will typically have you up and running sooner. Please let us know if you need our help.

There are new coupons on the website, sorry we haven’t had any offerings lately. One of the new coupons is for in-home service. Make sure to take advantage of them.

Happy Thanksgiving! A couple items of news. First, I have posted holiday hours, we will be closing at 3:00pm on Wednesday, we’ll be closed on Thursday, and open regular hours on Friday. We will have some Black Friday specials posted by Thursday night.

Also, I will be sending out a newsletter this week. It will include some Black Friday specials, as well as some information about Windows 8, articles, news, etc. If you are not already signed up for the newsletter, you can do so right on the website.

The summer is flying by! Time to start thinking about getting ready to go to school, and MicroSeconds can help. We can contact any school and university to find out what they require for their students, every school is a little different. Based on that information, we can research what laptop we feel would be the best fit for you or your student. And we can custom order any laptop, and deliver it to you with all the useless trial software removed. We are constantly doing research on what models of what manufacturers are the best quality, and we only stock laptops that meet our quality requirements. So if you are ready to start thinking about going back to school, please make sure you call us first. The attention, information, service and product you will receive from us will be far superior to what you’ll get at one of the box stores.

We have acquired some used Mac equipment over the past several weeks, and it seems to fly off the shelves once we get it ready for sale. It may take a couple of weeks, but in the near future we are going to make an effort to carry more Mac equipment, including laptops. Keep an eye on the website, and I will keep you posted.

MicroSeconds is for sale. The owner of MicroSeconds, who is based in Atlanta, has decided to sell the company. He sold our Atlanta branch recently, and is now actively taking offers on our New Hampshire operations.

MicroSeconds has been a fixture in this community for the last 14 years. We have more than 7500 customers in our database, and our customer loyalty is through the roof. We have invested over $500,000 in TV, radio and print advertising since we opened. We are number one for many important organic Google search terms, including computer repair and used computers. And in addition to our current skills as a sales and service company, I believe there are many areas that we have not tapped into yet that could be great opportunities for us. This includes Mac sales and repair, as well as the expansion of our business services division, which is one of our biggest skill strengths, but a market that we have not been that successful in marketing to.

MicroSeconds is a great company. We have built this company from the ground up by providing a high level of customer service in an industry where customer service is almost non-existent. We made some changes to our service department a couple of months ago with the hope that it would make us more efficient, and the results have been excellent. In addition, we have been a little slow in the service department the last couple of weeks. The good news for you is that our current service schedule is only 1-2 days. This is about as short of a wait time as we’ve had for a long time, so if you have any computers that are in need of a checkup or repair, bring them in soon.

Things have been pretty busy at MicroSeconds. Our Manchester store has been getting busier every month, and Salem is as ever. In an effort to improve the wait time for our service customers, we have revamped the service department a little bit, so currently the service wait should be 3-5 days in Salem. Emergency services are still available as well if needed. The wait in Manchester continues to be same day or next. In addition, Manchester is now doing more extensive laptop repair. We are now performing power jack repair, and have been very successful with this service. Our prices are very competitive, and we do the job properly, unlike many of the other service companies performing this service. Let us know if we can help.

We are bringing in a good amount of used systems for the weekend with some very good pricing. We will be closed on Easter, but we will be open regular hours on Saturday.
